Description:

Learn how to replicate that perfect film look with After Effects. From Technicolor to 80s video to VHS to film noir. Find out how to dissect a film style from color, tone and texture then reproduce that on modern HD footage. Using the standard set of AE tools along with a little help from Trapcode's Starglow learn to develop that critical eye and use the right tools for the job.

Film makers, photographers and anyone interested in the art of the moving picture. Those who have experience with After Effects, Photoshop or related Adobe products. Freelancers or those who work for Motion Graphics, Film or Television studios/companies may get the most out of this class.

Course Outline

o What is she wearing: Dissecting a film look in color, tone and texture
o All those wonderful toys: How levels, curves, histogram, blurs and more really work in AE
o Let's play: Applying the skills to change footage into any look
