This is a hands-on workshop aimed at those interested in creating truly scalable, richly interactive online applications. The course will demonstrate the practical use of design patterns in achieving a production pipeline that brings together designers and developers.
What to expect:
Over the day, we will build a fun application together to illustrate how modular architecture forms the bridge between designer and developer. To do this, we'll use the popular PureMVC framework in combination with some supportive design patterns. As the project progresses, we'll place an emphasis on creating a code environment that frees designers to unleash their creative potential, for sites that sizzle. The last half of the workshop will be spent applying our framework-based pipeline to incorporate compelling media content.
