In 2000, Rick Mason graduated from the Image Arts - New Media program at Ryerson University where one of his professors quickly hired him to work for Pangaea NewMedia. At Pangaea, Rick moved from junior developer to production manager to technical director while working on dynamic websites for clients such as CHUM Radio Network, CHUM FM, Shelternet, CRCA, Cultural Careers Council of Ontario. Rick also was a lead developer on Revista, an asset management and presentation tool used by several Toronto companies to work remotely with their clients.

In his spare time Rick is one of the directors of FlashinTO and the Technical Director for FITC. He spends his days building Flex, AIR and Coldfusion based applications for NOW Magazine (www.nowtoronto.com). Since starting at NOW Rick has had several video game reviews published in the weekly paper as well as sidebars for the Guitar Hero cover feature in 2008.
