With the latest release of Flash CS3, ActionScript 3.0 has changed dramatically and has become a more mature programming language. With so many changes, many Flash developers, even those who are quite familiar with ActionScript 2.0 may feel a little bit lost when it comes to creating even the simplest of programs.
This workshop will lead everyone through all the various new features, changes, and all of the things that used to work in AS 2 but no longer work in AS 3. You'll be introduced to the AS 3.0 style of Object Oriented Programming (OOP), which is different than the implementation in AS 2.0. You will become a master of event handling, which is one of the biggest changes to AS 3. By the end of this course, you'll not only see the light with AS 3, but you'll wish you never have to code another project using AS 2.
